A casual Thursday-night sailing race on Lake Dillon, June through September, open to members and non-members of all skill levels — and the club welcomes people without boats to come crew. Confirm the start time on the club’s racing page.

The club’s “Beer Can” series — deliberately low-pressure, raced without spinnakers and pitched at people new to racing. The club also runs a Frostbite Series over three Saturdays in late September and early October.
ASA 101 & lessons · mid-June–August, 11am–5pm
Dillon Marina, 150 Marina Dr, Dillon
An ASA-certified facility teaching the Basic Keelboat course (ASA 101) on Lake Dillon at 9,017 feet. Lessons and courses run mid-June to the end of August, 11am–5pm, weather depending. Private lessons $170–$341, semi-private $150–$312 per person, group lessons capped at five $122–$244 per person, all with a two-hour minimum. Participants must be 18 or over — under-18s go through Dillon Junior Sailing. Booking is by phone or email only, not online.
Guided tours daily · 1.5–2.5 hrs · summer
Guided kayak tours launching from the Frisco Bay Marina daily through the season, from 9:00am, running 1.5 to 2.5 hours — Island, Family and Sunset options. Check in 15 minutes early for life jackets.
Walk-in rentals daily · late May–early September

Two-hour rentals — paddle boards $60–$80, kayaks $60–$75, OC-1 outriggers $120 — from late May to early September, first-come walk-ins welcome though a day’s notice is advised. The Dillon Outrigger Canoe Club paddles out of the same spot from mid-June: $20 drop-in or $150 for the season.
Seven weekly sessions · Mon–Fri from 10am · June–August
Seven one-week sessions for ages 8–17, running June 22 to August 7 in 2026. Days are 10:00–4:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:00–1:00 on Friday. $615 per week, with 15% off second and subsequent weeks.

Frisco Bay Marina, Frisco Peninsula
Kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards, 9:00am–6:00pm seven days a week through the summer. For 2026 the marina moved to same-day reservations only from August 17 because of low water, with the last day of paddle rentals anticipated September 7.
