About The Outdoor Dispatch

The Outdoor Dispatch is a free, curated guide to the recurring outdoor groups, clubs, and meetups that already happen across the West’s mountain towns — group runs and rides, climb nights, hikes, paddles, Nordic miles, bird walks, fly-fishing meetups, and more. The goal is simple: help you find something to show up to this week, whether you just moved, are getting back into it, or just want to get outside with other people.

How it works

Each town or valley is its own edition. Within an edition, everything is organized by activity, by the organizer running it, and by the recurring series itself — with a season-aware “this week” lineup up top, so you see what’s actually happening now instead of a static list of links.

How we keep it useful

Listings are community-sourced and researched from public information. We show what we’ve confirmed and flag what still needs verifying, rather than pretend everything is current. Schedules change, so always confirm the details with the organizer before heading out.

Help us make it better

Spotted something wrong — a changed time, a broken link, a group that’s no longer running? Use the report flag on any listing. Want your town covered? Request an edition from the home page — every request is a vote for where we build next.
