Rotating area rivers & lakes
Club paddles on local whitewater and flatwater plus skills clinics taught by club instructors in canoe, sea kayak and whitewater kayak. Trips are posted individually — the 2026 season included a Metaline to Boundary Dam run graded intermediate — and the club runs its schedule largely through its Meetup group.

Trips run the Clark Fork, Lochsa, St. Joe and Coeur d’Alene rivers — not the Spokane.

Under the Division Street Bridge, south bank by the Convention Center
Rentals run 10am–6pm Saturday and 1pm–6pm Sunday with last walk-ups at 5pm, and Wednesday to Friday by reservation only. $45 for two hours or $35 for the happy-hour rate covering the last three hours of the day. The launch sits under the Division Street Bridge on the south side of the river, next to the Convention Center and the Centennial Trail. Peak 7 is a nonprofit and every rental funds its outdoor youth programs.
Guided raft, kayak & SUP trips plus rentals — book ahead
Guided rafting on both the Spokane and the Salmon, plus an easy wildlife float down the Spokane, kayak trips and kayaking classes for beginners through experts, and self-guided rentals. Trips run on request rather than a fixed timetable, so book ahead. The company also runs a winter program — snowshoe excursions including evening trips, winter camping and winter survival training — which is not covered by this summer listing.

Quarterly trips tied to the academic calendar, all beginner-friendly — they “require no previous experience”. Half-days run about $10–$25 with gear included. Aimed at EWU students; confirm eligibility on 509.359.4014.
